HOGTOWN-PRODUCERS
DANIEL NEARING has worked as Producer, Director and Writer for numerous narrative projects as well as documentaries broadcast on The Discovery Channel, Bravo, the CBC, and The Sports Network. In addition to serving as Director for Chicago Heights, Goalie, and Hogtown, he coordinates an MFA program in independent Filmmaking at Governors State University, in the South Chicago area.
SANGHOON LEE, a Korean national, moved to the USA in 1999 to attend the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where he pursued his MFA in Filmmaking. He has been working as a director, producer and cinematographer in the independent film community in the US since 2003. As a producer he has completed a feature documentary, Edit (2003), and two dramatic features -- Second Moon (2007) and Chicago Heights (2009). Cinematography is another of his passions. He recently debuted as a feature DP for Chicago Heights. Lee serves as Producer and DP on Hogtown.
Producer RACHEL ROZYCKI believes stories to be the backbone of existence – they unite us and allow us a better understanding of others and in turn of ourselves. Rachel is a documentary filmmaker and has worked on narrative films including The New Year, Cyclicity, and Goalie. Although she enjoys all aspects of filmmaking, she is most passionate about giving a forum to those whose voices might not otherwise be heard. Rachel lives in Chicagoland, pursuing stories that reflect the spirit of the city. Hogtown is her first feature.
